Troubleshooting
Help! I can't find my module using CAN Flasher
If you can no longer find your module with the CAN Flasher there are several causes for the issues:
- wrong/defective cabling
- wrong/changed baudrate
- defective hardware
- defective user application
Wrong or defective cabling is the most frequent cause, so double check that and take special care of CAN bus termination and power supply wiring.
Once you've done that, open the MCU Flasher. Click Search module
. This will try several CAN communication settings and guide you through the process.
If you still haven't found it, try another known good module without an empty application and see if that works. If it doesn't please contact support for further assistance.
I can't get the PCAN USB Adapter to work
